MedellinRealEstate.co is run by an American who lives in Medellín full-time — not a brokerage, not an agency with listings to push, and not a lead farm selling your number to twenty agents.

The model is simple. We publish honest, detailed guides to buying here, because most of what foreign buyers find online is thin, outdated, or written to sell a specific development. When a reader is serious, we make one careful introduction to a vetted bilingual broker matched to their budget and goals. If a deal eventually closes, the broker pays us a referral fee out of the commission the seller was paying anyway.

What that structure means for you

• You pay nothing, and your purchase price doesn't change by using us.
• We have no listings, so we have no reason to steer you toward any particular property.
• Our incentive is the long game. We only get paid when good matches close good deals — a bad introduction costs us more than it costs you, because our brokers and our readers both have to keep trusting us.

What we will tell you that others won't

If your budget doesn't work for the neighborhood you want, we'll say so. If your plan depends on short-term rental income in a building that prohibits it, we'll say so. If you'd honestly be better off renting for six months before buying anything, we'll say that too — it costs us a faster fee and earns us a better one later.

What we are not

We're not lawyers, accountants, or licensed advisors, and we don't handle your money — ever. Funds move between you, your bank, the notaría, and the seller through official channels. We're the layer that makes sure the people guiding you through that are worth trusting.
