MedellinRealEstate.co ("we," "us") is an independent information and referral service based in Medellín, Colombia. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you contact us by WhatsApp or email, we receive what you choose to share — typically your name, contact number, budget range, timeline, and property preferences.
- Basic technical data. Our hosting and analytics may record standard log data such as pages visited, approximate location, browser type, and referral source.
How we use it
- To respond to you and understand what you're looking for.
- To make introductions: with your knowledge, we share your relevant details (name, contact, budget, preferences) with the broker or professional we match you with. That is the entire purpose of the service.
- To improve the site and its guides.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your information or add you to third-party marketing lists.
- We don't blast your details to multiple agents — introductions are individual and deliberate.
- We don't handle or store payment information. We never take custody of transaction funds.
WhatsApp and email
Conversations over WhatsApp are subject to WhatsApp's (Meta's) own terms and privacy practices; email is subject to your provider's and ours. Don't send sensitive financial documents through either unless a professional you've engaged asks for them through an appropriate channel.
Retention and your choices
We keep correspondence as long as it's useful for serving you and for our referral records. You can ask us at any time to delete your contact information and correspondence, and we will, except where a record must be kept for a completed referral or legal obligation.
